RE: Your new corrected policy of Notices of Tax Lien filings, as per your letter to Mr. Paul St. Paul, dated August 12, 1993.
Thank your for your new enlightened policy which implements your directions to your staff that programming changes be accomplished that will henceforth reflect that various tax lien documents presented for public record are to appear as tax lien notices in the general index as brought to your attention by Mr. Paul St. Paul.
Your integrity and courage as public officials who dare to do what is lawfully, ethically and morally correct will stand you, your staff and operation of your office as a "beacon of light" which will hopefully be emulated in every county across this entire American country. My observation is that you and your staff are displaying the very highest standards of responsible government in this American land.
So I am delighted as a Korean war veteran to salute you; as a former public servant (Seattle Firefighter for 32 plus years) to salute you; as the current overseer of a religious Society (The Santiago Seafarer's Society), to salute you; and as an American (Republic) taxpayer to salute you.

It is widely apparent why such excellence attracts sufficient population to make yours what Mr. Paul St. Paul tells me is the largest county in the United States of America.

Sincerely,

/s/ James E. (Jim) Shaver, Sr.
